Just thought I'd share a quick picture of what a nice day it was today down at the beach. You could see all the way to Catalina and up to Palos Verdes to the north.

This is a nice shot AOA. I like the two dogs playing in the waves, and the clouds.

I ,myself was almost tempted to have a picnic today, but then... there was snow on the benches... So maybe I'll try it in 6 months or so.

It's a nice area. More years ago than I am willing to admit to, my wife and I lived in the LA area for three years. I got to know the beaches and had a couple of trips to Catalina Island. That was magical.

Naw, it's what is EAST of the fault that will slip into the ocean! At least that's what my friend from San Francisco tells me!

The only fault I see is the patch in the sky that indicates that the sensor may need a clean - nothing to get too shaken about.

I would not call it a line or bother to give it a name....

L.Paul - I think it's something on the UV filter. While riding my bike I was dodging the seagull droppings from above. There's no place like Surf City, USA, especially on a clear day like today was.

With impending more snow on the way around here (much better than NY), I am tempted to get out of here sooner and go home to Oz for the duration of the winter. What a beautiful shot you have here...very nice place.
