Receiving an order
A new one for the series "Work / Trabalho"
Portrait under natural light from a window at my right side and behind me. Tubular light from ceiling on my left.

I like this one for its simplicity.

Re: Receiving an order
I hesitate to critique a master of the craft and this is a great portrait of a man at his work but the highlight of the table lamp just pulls my eye a bit. Worth toning down? A lovely image none the less. The sepia tone is just right.

Thank you all for the comments.
@ John
You are right. While working on the photograph I noticed that problem but couldn't overcome it.
That light comes from the outside window hitting the plan of work.
I am afraid to clone and work on that area because I may do something completely and really bad, which would really spoil the image.

Re: Receiving an order
Hi Antonio, I wasn't referring to the highlight in the bottom right hand corner. I think you could burn that with a very soft brush if you wished but it would have to be done on the pre toned image. I was more concerned with the table lamp which is at his eye level. Having said that, it would a much more difficult problem to solve if it is to look natural. It matters not. The image stands well as it is. Lovely quality.

Re: Receiving an order
What a wonderful environmental portrait! I see the overhead small storage bins in the background and wonder what is being sold.
About the bright area on the table: That's the kind of area that is really easy to change using the control point technology in the Nik/Google plug-in products. No cloning would be needed. In this case, I don't think it would matter whether you change it in the color original or after converting to monochrome.

@ Mike
How silly of me I couldn't remember that possibility ! I will go and control point that area.
The light from the lamp... that, yes that will stay as it is !
Thank you for the tip !
