Is it a natural color of the worm or the result of reflected light?

natural colour which I have managed to capture in 'Take 4'. The beasty was on the same rose bush today and there was better sunlight.

    Hi Brian,

What a beautiful critter! Nice capture. I like the light on the beasty (although more light on his head would be nice - perhaps possible with the use of a reflector or a different direction if he pays another visit) and the beautiful colours of the green foliage in the background.

    Well done!

    PS

With respect to "Brown Bear" I've made it my totem (strength and confidence), and also my good luck charm for photographing brown bears in the wild... (next summer/late fall - hopefully!)

Sorry that I took so long to reply... I just remembered that question of yours.

One thing that I was taught about bears is that the Black is the Crown Prince and a little unpredictable but that the Brown (Grizzly - Kodiak) is quite simply the King and deserving as well as demanding of respect. Very powerful totem if she chooses you.

Thank you for sharing... Indeed the she (Grizzly - Kodiak) came to me in a dream, along with her two cubs. Enough said on a public forum. Hopefully my interpretation of the dream is correct (chosen) and I'll be posting some Brown Bear images that were photographed in the wild, next year, or if I'm lucky perhaps sooner.
