Quite lovely and well captured!
I agree, Dave. What a beautiful scene!
Donald, you made me laugh out loud.![]()
Thank you Terry.
Dave
Very colorful.
Indeed this image is meant to be in colour! A breathtakingly beautiful capture of those colours, gorgeous detail, too.
Just for kicks, I tried converting it to monochrome just to see if it would be possible to make a conversion remotely close to as enjoyable as your color version. I wasn't able to make that happen.
Thanks John, Christina and Mike for your comments. Much appreciated.
Dave
That is weird.
Last night (it's now Tuesday morning) when I looked at this, there was a picture of a young person 'giving-the finger'. I knew it had to be a mistake. Either I was a hallucinating (not known for it) or, somehow, a rogue file was being superimposed instead of the genuine (see above) file.
That really is the oddest thing. I'm not going gaga., Honestly. I did see it. Didn't I?
OFF TOPIC
I'm sure you saw it but I'm really disappointed that I didn't get to see it.
The same thing happened to me yesterday in one of Terry's threads. When I visited it about the third time a completely different photo was being shown in the first post of the thread. When I mentioned it, he was seeing only the original image that he had posted. So, I made a screenshot of the image that was being displayed on my end and added it to the thread just so he could see what I was seeing. Very weird.
I think I can se a kangaroo with a red headed joey in its pouch ... plus of course the redflowers across the top.
But I think I am seeing not what you others saw due to interfereence but what I am imagining![]()
Back to topic...I would have thought the inclusion of the tall tree at the RHS side do not contribute to the whole picture itself but after moving it from side to side, I now think it looks best with it. Very beautiful tree...well done.
Thanks Izzie
Very nice image Dave, lovely colors![]()
Scintillating shot, amazing reds. Wonder how it would look cropped entirely to show the red tree area.
Thanks Binnur and Haseeb. I'll try cropping a bit tighter Haseeb but as Izzie said above, the gum trees add interest.
