    Meet Inky and Bomber

Inky and Bomber are two rescue Greyhounds who are owned by Number One Son and his better half. They may look scary in these images but you couldn't meet a more gentle and affectionate pair of hounds. A pair that we (that's the present Mrs S and I) consider to be great set of grand kids

Sadly I clipped his paws slightly. He doesn't run as fast nowadays, as he broke a rear leg by running into his owner who then fell on top of him.

Well captured Peter. Bomber does look a bit scary in that shot.

Oh Peter...these two makes me laugh real hard...so funny poses. Our rottenweiler fell down the stairs sometime around May and we had him operated on as soon as we can. Cost us the earth but he is walking well now and jumping and carrying on like as if he is normal.

We just adopted a dog to a family who also has a rescue Greyhound. The big Greyhound was very welcoming and loving to the new smaller dog. She had lost her best friend, another small dog, a few months ago and was lonely. The Greyhound really perked up when the new dog came into her home they hit it off immediately!

Richard I have to agree with you, greyhounds make marvellous pets, these two were brought together by the retired Greyhound Trust here in the UK.

They had to go on a date to see that they were compatible with each other

When they stay with us the little one Inky (Blue Poppy was her racing name) likes to try out all of the armchairs sitting quite regally in them.

I have made a composite image from the two shown here it's being produced on a acrylic mount as a Christmas surprise for the owners (#1 Son and his better half)

We do support the Greyhound Trust but we're not actively involved with the trust. They do try to re home the hounds who have either too long in the tooth to be raced or not fast enough to be considered for racing.
Both of these are tattooed in their ears which I find a barbaric way to register pedigree especially when microchips are available which would do the same thing.
