Helpful Posts: I took a number of shots of prayer flags at the Chelela Pass (3988m / 13,100 ft) in Western Bhutan. This configuration of forests of prayer flags is not something I encountered anywhere else in the region and seems to be practice in this part of Bhutan.
These images were taken on our second day in Bhutan, so the altitude was really tough on me and I was huffing and puffing just moving up and down the hill to capture these shots.
This shot shows some old prayer flags that had fallen onto the ground.
Marker on the highway indicating the name of the pass and the altitude. This pass is closed by snow during the winter.

The second and fourth photos make a terrific pair, one showing the shape of wider view and one showing the detail. Wonderful!
