Nicely captured.
Heavy sticky snow always makes beautiful scenes. I like how you have near, middle ground, and very distant views of the snow on the pines here.
Thanks John!
That is a very nice picture.
If I may, can I raise a thought about composition - Does it need any of the sky included? What does that add to the image?
I had a look at it from the point of view of cropping along the top of the hills just at the point where the sky reaches lowest in the frame. Then crop at the right hand side to maintain the same aspect ratio. What do you think?
Carol, that's a very nice landscape image of the ****. We got 6 inches of **** from that storm yesterday. Should make for an interesting drive to Yellowstone tomorrow.![]()
Very nice capture. I just quit putting up my Christmas lights because it was too hot to continue!
Montana, Wyoming, Michigan...gosh! Add Canada to that! Steve will have galore of those four letter words...As soon as my operation heals I will head straight to Australia...
Nice shot, Carole -- I am complaining of the freezing temp here and our 2 inches of snow. Now your shot where you are makes me feel better...In our case here, we have to stick to defensive driving...many morons let loose in the slicky roads around here...
That's nice Carol! I am only enjoying the snow through photos such as this (I'm in LA where it was in the high-80s yesterday...)!
Very nice Carol![]()
Donald, that's an interesting crop idea. However, my thoughts of what little sky is shown, reflects how bad the weather was; but that's just me.
Steve, I'm so glad I got an electric snowblower last year!! Hope you make the trip safely!
Dave, Izzie, Mike, & David; thanks so much for taking the time to look at the photo & for your very kind comments, I really appreciate each & every one!
Bracing for another round of snow; under a winter storm advisory, beginning at midnight.![]()
