    Sigma 150-600

Being sick of waiting for a clear sky I decided to wait for a few breaks in the cloud.

NOT good images but wanted to try the lens on the Moon.

I will try again with sigmas new 1.4 converter when the skies are clearer

    Standard 1/250th at f8

There was a time when I would set a camera on my telescope for shots like this.

    How times have changed

Hi Jeremy, looks good to me. Just this morning I was reading about this lens attached to Nikon bodies. These shots confirm what I read. Now to convince the financial director.

I will add some back garden shots soon, as I have yet to get out to do sports ones

    Overcast with some sunshine

These therefore had to be shot in the shade under a tree at 4000asa, with the Sigma 150-600 AT 600 and the 1.4 (840mm) converter. MANUAL focus with the D810 though the D4s managed fine even in dull light

I am happy with the lens

Oh and I rarely shoot birds, this is the first time and these the very first manually with this combo, hence I need practice with focus

I can see why you are happy with the lens, wonderful work on the moon shots.
