It looks like late November. Is the broken tree or the one beside it cut by a beaver?

Broken, most likely from the weight of heavy snow on leafy trees. Thanks for viewing and commenting.

I like the first one for the skies included in it and the people; #2 is a good triangle sort of shot but my favourite is #3. I see a lot of them here in my backyard and I was thinking of the title should be "Hanging On"...

    Izzie,

Thanks for the comments. Look closer at the third image, it's doing more than hanging on. I didn't notice it until after I started processing. My original title was going to be "Last One Standing".

Looks like a nice day for a walk. Like the leaf shot.

    John,
In the second image, in lightbox and full enlargement, you have a much better image of just the broken tree and reflection. By cropping it to just above where the trunk broke (and eliminating the notched tree near/behind it) gives you a great image/reflection; mayhaps try converting it to B&W? I think it would be a very strong image if you did.
Also, the last, leaf image is quite interesting as well. Cool beans.

Yes, so would I. Funny how I didn't notice when photographing, however I only had the 85mm lens with me so I could only get so close to the image and for once I didn't pixel peep.

Nice images John. Looks like something has bee gnawing away at the bottom of the grey tree trunk in the second image.

Very nice shots John, I prefer the second version of the broken tree with reflection

PS. Jack's crop suggestion might work well too.
