Blue face
Came across this face in the beautiful gardens of the Mount Nelson hotel in Cape Town, liked the contrast with the surrounding vegetation.

Re: Blue face
What an interesting subject and one that you could come back to many times to capture in different light and from different angles. I'm wondering if you have enhanced the blues a little because the reflections off some of the leaves looks a bit blue on my monitor and distract my attention. If it's the sky that's caused it perhaps selectively reducing the blues in those areas would help.

Re: Blue face
Hello Graham, I noticed that blue in the leaves in the bottom right of the image late on in editing not sure what it is caused by as the blues were not enhanced in anyway, possibly its from the sky as it was a clear day.

Re: Blue face
Apart from the blues of the leaves, there is also a blue shoebox (?) down the RHS. What are the brollies for on the other side? With tents ? (?)

Re: Blue face
Hello Izzie, you had me confused when I read shoebox, I suspect it is lighting for when it goes dusk and the brollies are sunshades for residents along with loungers.
