Re: Cricket photos on Australia's sad day.
Cricketing shots so often seem to be about the batsmen with stumps flying. Nice to see some bowlers in action. Nice set.

The last two in which you slowed the shutter and got motion into them, are super images, particularly the first of those given you managed to get the number on his shirt sharp. That is a real beauty.
A tragedy that such a freak accident should lead to the death of such a young man.

I like the last two, Kay, especially the last one. He looks like a real spinner.

Thankyou for commenting, John, John, Donald & Greg,
The tragedy of Phillip Hughes death, I guess made us all think.
I made a conscious plan to really enjoy the simple pleasure of a day in the sun with my friend & my camera.
Thankyou Donald & Greg for your thoughts on the last 2. Someone once told me cricket photography is easy, just pre focus on the stumps & there you go.
However I wanted to disprove that, by showing something a but different. I also learnt that it is actually really tricky, the ball comes off the bat so quick, to re-focus on a catch being taken is very tricky indeed!
Thanks again for your comments.

I like #3 and #4 in this series, Kay -- very neat shots.
