Re: Dressed for the beach
Thanks guys - it seemed an strange theme pub when you're standing in 4 degrees (39f in old money) with wind chill.

Very sophisticated outfit. Love the shot! It is nice and clean. And I like the title...

Re: Dressed for the beach
Thanks Izzie - not bad considering it's from the hip with an old camera and much older MF lens. ISO3600, f8 (pre focused to try to get the subject in focus)

Re: Dressed for the beach
If that is from the hip, you should do it more often...I really like it.

Nice, witty shot, Phil. I love the contrast between the theme and the lady who probably wouldn't get caught in that establishment. Any port in a storm??

Makes me smile... Isn't that what street photography is supposed to do, touch our emotions for good or negative...

Re: Dressed for the beach
Kudos on the shot, Phil. Curious, did you use any noise reduction in pp? An older camera at ISO 3600 might likely have been grainier than this.

Re: Dressed for the beach
Thanks guys
@ Kevin - I'm happy up to ISO6400 on the D700 - this needed a slight bit of NR in Lightroom during processing, but not a lot.
