You'll be fine. The UN says we're on track for this to be the worlds hottest year.
I cannot wait to see more of your snowies.
You do such a wonderful job, Bobo.
I love how he has made you.

Beautiful shot and I too like the eye contact. Such pretty birds!
Well caught, Bobo.
Fabulous composition!
Thanks John, Greg, Mike.
Thanks Marie, Terri. Last year had only one good sequence and she was looking my way in all the shots, this sequence is the same. Maybe coincidence but I doubt it. I had one other single shot and the same in that. I am almost certain that this is regular behaviour despite what a photographer may say or want you to think that the shot is really so special.
Well, I think this is pretty special. Love the sense of motion, and of a moment captured.
Perfect capture of these awesome birds. Very well done.
I love the eye contact as well...Very nice sharp shot.
Stunning!
Extraordinarily special, and absolutely exquisite! For the eye contact, wing position, position of the head, and gorgeous light, etc...
I too, am very much looking forward to seeing more of your owl shots, especially the snowy and gray owls.
Great image, I like the eye contact too
Excellent as usual Bobo. Do you ever take a bad shot ?
Thanks Janis, Chuck, Izzie, John (the one with a 2), Binnur.
Thanks Christina - will try but one year older and old bones less tolerant to weather extremes and... Always hopeful. No GGO reported (yet), snowies (only here and there). It is still a bit early for numbers.
Thanks Dave - see that dark staircase near the corner? Let's go there so that no body dares follow us. A big secret will be revealed. hehe.
Bad shots are almost mandatory or we will never learn to avoid them in the future. I analyse a bad shot more than a good one. But on good ones there is another problem which is hard to overcome. As I gain more experience, I get more and more picky and have been discarding perfectly good shots for nothing. This one was about to be discarded because I thought the the left side of the eye socket should have shown more details. It this continues soon you will be seeing me taking shots from inside a nut house. haha
Congrats! I like how he's peering back at you, that makes the picture work, I might suggest cropping from the right, but I'm not sure that would be appropriate for this particular picture.
Thanks Nick. I had the same view about the crop. At the moment the eye goes straight to the bottom right corner. Less wide and we lose that.
