Yellow Rose Abstract. C&C Welcome

Hi, going forward on my photography venture I stopped and clicked another shot. Can you please review it and let me know what exactly is missing for it to make it much better?

Please provide your views and suggestion with composition, crop and processing. I have provided 4 crop versions.
1. Square
2. 5 : 4 crop
3. 7 : 5 crop
4. 3 : 2 crop.

Personally i like 7 : 5 and 5 : 4 crop.

Update #1 : Made rose offcenter

Nicely captured, I like the first crop as it provides a bit more space for my eyes to adjust to the feeling of depth.

I like the first version too IMO the other images look a bit squeezed in their frames.

thanks a lot for sharing the link. I will study more about it and use it in the crops whenever possible.

Raj, I to prefer the 1:1 crop. Perhaps because a rose has a shape that is regular, my head prefers it being represented in a frame that has a fairly regular, i.e. square shape. I wonder if the shot were presented more asymmetrically, then one of the other geometries might work better.

I prefer the square crop, I think it suits the subject better. Also here's another idea... Because the centre of the flower is roughly the shape of an eye try rotating it 90 degrees left and see what you think.
