Think what caught me was her dark ones seemed refreshing almost airy rather than heavy also her story telling seems very sane. Also got a niggle that some are unnatural light to my limited eyes.

I had the opportunity to visit with a premier food photographer here in Dallas last month. He had no client on location but did have three food stylist working together. He has the ability to create a nice ambient northern light and coupled with his tilt shift lens, the results was amazing.

As simple as that sounds, it is. He creates great light and I saw the value of a tilt shift lens in his photography. Everything else was in the stylist hands.
