For those of you with the new Canon 7D Mark II this might help with the AF System.

Those directions are a lot more "user friendly" that the ones that came with my old 1Ds3.

Yep, after about 3 readings it started to make sense. But now that I've got my 7DMkII in my hands and am working through the set up with the camera in hand, it is very intuitive. The AF system management is much less intimidating that it looked on the basis of reading the pre-production reviews and the online user manual. In fact it really does make a lot of sense and, I think, is pretty easy to understand.
