    Farm on a Misty Morning

One morning in October I went for an early morning drive. It was a misty morning and when I came across this farm the mist was rising into the surrounding hills revealing the autumn colors.

Nice capture Kurt. I would look at reducing the highlights in the sky somewhat and maybe raising the shadows a bit in the fields and trees.

Thank you Dave The image is shot in raw and processed in lightroom so I should be able to make those changes.

Very pleasant scene Kurt and a nice capture. I'm with Dave on this. I think that here is more detail in that sky and reducing the brightness will bring it out. It might also be worth losing the strip of grass at the bottom with a compensating crop from the RHS. IMO, it distracts a little from the scene.

I find mists very hard to process unless one got it right on camera because of the resulting overblown skies...here the use of Luminosity Mask will be helpful...but then I do not know LR because I do not use it...there must be something as an alternative...
