This is a 26 image pano of the Anapurna Range, in Nepal, taken just after sunrise from Poon Hill (3210m). The range is probably getting close to a 180 degree view. Perhaps not the best pano (lighting was difficult to deal with as it ranged from shooting close to the sun to some very deep shadows), but the shot means a great deal to me personally.
This has something to do with having climbed around 2.1 km in altitude gain over some 30+ km over two days (the last 900m climb was started before 5:00AM to get to the top of Poon Hill for sunrise at 6:10AM), at altitude (i.e. over 2400m / 8000ft).
It's a large file that can be examined in LiteBox view. The shot was assembled in Photoshop CC 2014. To take this shot I dragged a small, lightweight carbon fibre tripod, an L-bracket, a long rail and a pano head along in addition to the camera and lens.
