    Some excellent shots folks.

Here are a few from around the garden.

All at ISO 400 with a manual SMC Pentax 55mm at f1.8.

Nikon V2, 10-30mm, at 14.5mm F5.6. 6400 ISO. Doesn't seem to want to go wider. 1/6 sec. Excuse mess on chair.

    Lenses Wide Open

My usual high iso test shot.

That looks familiar, Robin. I have similar here on the property but we don't pick them up 'cuz they squirt stinky stuff on you.

Think they are referred to as stink bugs but that doesn't seem to deter the boys and to be fair they haven't been squirted.....yet

    Lens wide open --

This is my second attempt at this particular painting in the Scottish National Gallery in Edinburgh. I used a Canon 50mm f/1.8 Nifty Fifty prime and pedestrian zoom. You are allowed to take any photographs you like but no flash and no tripod. It still isn't perfect so next time I will take a monopod with me and see if I can get it a bit straighter. I was using a Canon EOS 1000D, it is lighter than the 40D, the camera was set on Program AE, One Shot AF, Auto WB and the shutter was 1/30 sec with Aperture of F/1.8. ISO is 400.

Some more creamy bokeh for Robin

Nikon V2, 30-110mm wide open at 110mm plus a Raynox DCR-250 close up lens clipped on. The main tip of the pen is 15mm long.

    Lenses Wide Open

Couldn't bother to sort out lighting. More interested in what it can do,
