    Tenby in a tide pool

Reflection of Georgian buildings in Tenby, West Wales. The image is rotated 180 degrees vertical.

Nice one, Rob. I love reflections, too, and I also rotate them. These are the photographer's 'watercolours'.

Great shot Rob...Greg said it best about watercolors and if it were mine I would have a play with some of the artsy filters in PP to see what would come of it

Beautifully done. I've done some reflections before but never thought to try this.

Lovely colors. It never occurred to me to rotate reflections. Interesting effect. Nicely done.

wow that takes me back, a looong time ago at school I had a really good art teacher - on one day we had to cut a picture out of a magazine and then cut it into thin strips and glue it back onto a backing sheet but offset each strip to create a reflection look to it - I had forgotten that till I saw your image This image is great, well seen and very well thought out. Really well exposed and the clarity makes it surreal and very engaging.

My theory is that if you rotate them it temporarily throws the viewer for the first viewing. They expect it to be upside down. Just helps to make it more interesting, I thought.

You have to boost the exposure and colour vibrancy in RAW processing because the reflections often look cloudy and discoloured. The clarity slider also helps.

Great shot. I've done this myself but never had such bold colours and I had the water dead flat calm. The slight ripple you've got really take it to a different level.

My water was calm too. Just throw something in the water to create a ripple. I used a bit of log, as I recall.
