Smart Object Issue -Help?!?!
So I am making an image a smart object but when I do so it is changing the shade of the colour how can I fix or prevent this?
Details:
The image I am inserting has lime green but when I make it a smart object the lime green turns into a dark green. Screenshots available upon request.
I am using Adobe Photoshop CC 2014 on a Macbook Pro

Re: Smart Object Issue -Help?!?!
Are you working in the same colour space and bit-depth with both the object and the image where you insert it?

Adrian - I'm on the same page as Urban.
It certainly sounds like a colour space issue, especially if you are having issues with vivid greens. I use Photoshop CC 2014 and have a wide gamut screen. I use smart objects as my default setting when I open RAW files, my default colour space is ProPhoto. I have never run across this issue in the way you relate, but have seen it when importing a wider gamut workspace selection into one with a lower gamut; for instance copying a AdobeRGB or ProPhoto selection into a sRGB workspace.
