Hmm. Looks like the rainy season is back in Vancouver. Nice shot, but the crop is a tad tight for my taste, and I would be tempted to leave a bit more room at the bow.
That's a great perspective with the bridge in the picture. Nicely composed with position of the ship and shape of the bridge. I agree with Manfred's suggestion that a bit more room in front of the ship may be even more effective. Also a pano type crop removing some of the foreground might give even more of a sense of the length of the ship. Remember the ages old saying, "if it doesn't add to the picture it takes away". IMO the foreground water doesn't add anything.
I suppose the question is 'was there any more room in the shot in-front of the bow'? That is a really long ship.
I agree with the cropping as suggested by Manfred...
