The joy of watching movies!

This little girl was full of joy and and her mother happy for her as she watched a movie clip. This was taken at the Kala Ghoda Arts Festival in Mumbai earlier this year.

A beautiful capture, full of the wonderful joy of youthful innocence. Nicely done. Can I suggest something you might try? I know I rabbit on tiresomely at great length and can be a bit of a RPIA about the evils of cropping. But in this case I am tempted to be hypocritical. Just wonder what the effect would be if you cropped out about half of the red patterned strip down the LHS of frame? Just a suggestion which is really based on the "what if?" principle. I wonder if it might bring the eye into focusing on the youngster more into prominence. Just a thought for what it is worth.

The one area that strikes me that could you a touch of PP work is the girl's face. She is so very much in shadow and the surroundings are so much brighter. If it were my image, I would be tempted to brighten up the girls face a bit more, so that are eyes are drawn towards it some more.
