Nice shot, almost timeless. *Maybe* clone out the partial street lamp and rectangle in lower LHS? Wonder if this would work as a B&W? If you get the chance (have the time, inclination, etc) shoot down to Key West for some very interesting architecture, including Hemingway's house (museum).

    Hi Jack,

Thanks for the comments and suggestions. I did get down to Key West for a few hours, very interesting architecture down there.

Ditto to what Kim said, the tones in the sky are much better. I know the steeple is glaring white but then, that's the way things light up in the FLA sun.

Thanks Kim, I thought it competed with the cloud more effectively.

    Hi Jack,

Thanks for the comments, yes I thought the steeple needed a bit more flare to compete with the cloud.

Yes, the first mono for me too, John. The darker sky gives more prominence to the tower.

I prefer the color version John. IMO the highlights on the building in B&W conversions are a bit too much and the original image has very nice colors. I would also crop the image from bottom to leave the leaves of the palm tree in the image, IMO this would put the emphasis more on the nice building

This is what I meant John, I think you have a bit more leaves at the bottom to include into the frame but it works even like this . You can also crop from right just a bit for a more vertical frame. Very nice, soft coloured building with blue sky and green leaves

Very nice John, I like the first B&W and the last colored versions.

    Thanks for the inspiration.
