Yes he did Mike, following confirmation that the credit card had gone through ok and that I would shortly be receiving an email to confirm the order details.
One other thing I found impressive that I had never come across before was that at the bottom of the 'Chat' dialogue box during my first encounter with an Adobe assister there was an option box that I could tick to have a copy of the 'Chat' sent to me by email. Useful as it had the tel No's on it.

As an aside, why technicians from India if you were in U.K? or unless you were travelling. I have downloaded and installed PSCC and updated twice already with no issues or hang-ups. I even bought the LR5 and installed before the PS. Just curious in case I face this issue.
