CMT (Culturally Modified Tree); taken in Northern BC on Moresby Island (Haida Gwaii) about 4 years ago. The slots were cut in to check the tree for rot and then used as platforms to insert planks into it that acted as a platform to stand on while cutting the tree down. I took this shot because it sort of looked like the tree stump had a face.

Mike beat me to it but I had to search far and wide to find this snapshot, so I'm posting it, after the fact...

Partial view of a rooftop of a bungalow in Mexico... The bungalow is called "Las Casitas" which means "little houses". The bungalow is also referred to as "The Domes" but most commonly as the Boob Hotel. It's a wonderful example of the Mexican peoples creativity and innovation. Likely built free style with no architectural blue prints.
