Beauty is in the eye of the beholder

So, "Not all Princes are charming, Gwendoline," as they say in the classics. Nor are they necessarily cute and cuddly. And so, now for something different.....

Thanks for viewing and for any comments. Hey, speak up! I'm a bit 'mutton and jeff, ' so what's that you are muttering about? Oh, yeah. Sorry. Its an Eastern Bearded Dragon, okay? Picked it up injured on the roadside and as soon as it is fit enough it is being released back into the wild to fend for itself. Yeah, you are probably right. Only a face a mother could love. But it is a great devourer of ants and other pesky insects.

Anyway I am off to set traps in the fire place. Apparently this old chap drops down the chimney with prezzies around this time of year. And he has this big bag full of goodies with him. So, if I set a trap for him then.... And then I am going to sit outside and hide in the bushes with my shottie. He has this sled with bloody reindeer and last year their hooves scratched buggery out of our tin roof.

Anyway. Enough with the silly stories. Hope everyone has a safe and happy festive season. And takes lots of photos to post for us to all enjoy in 2015
    Bye for now

Nicely done, some creatures are just so unique that you tend to overlook such concerns.

Oh my! What a scary face he has! Is it tame? What did your daughter name him? Nice shot Ucci -- I like both of them but wouldn't put my finger near it.

Rellies from Echuca who owns most of the gasoline stations there had a house built with tin roof mainly because he just loves hearing the rain during the rainy season...

Merry Christmas Ken and Glenise. I am still doing my prepping during the day. Hope you, Glenise and young Ucci have a nice one. And oh...your pets too...
