They look good to me except for one very small problem. #1 right side, base of trees near skyline; there is one small bright red dot there which I would clone out. Maybe a red light?

    Great scenes Jordan.

No 3 really stands out for me with that unusual sky, the layers and detailed foreground.

It also appears to me that No 3 has been PPd differently to the first two in that it seems more pleasing to the eye as the horizon is not as sharp as the others. Perhaps it's just my eyes but would be interesting to hear other views on this aspect.

You have an eye for detail, Geoff. The little red speck is actually my wife in her red ski suit, trying to stay out of the frame.
Anyway, I decided not to delete that small defect from the photo.

Like them all, very nice, but 3 is the best. Wife is not a defect.

    Grahame,
#1 was processed from a single RAW file captured with a handheld Tokina 11-16 at 14.00mm just before sunrise.
Shooting into the sun was a bit challenging. For #2 I took three bracketed photos /+2;0;-2/ using a tripod. I then processed them “manually” in CS6 using layers and masks.
What you see in #3 is the rightmost part of #2 taken later in the morning from a higher altitude /notice the ski track in the right third just below the snow line/.
Single RAW Tamron 70-300 at 112mm tripod. It might be the light that produced the softness you were talking about or the distance, I don’t know, but it came out well.
