    Hi Jack,

    I saw the b&w potential during the editing but liked the warmth of the stones.

    Nice subject, John. If it were mine, I would also try cropping the top half off at the waterline, keep the bottom half and invert it.

    John,

    I like the image, too, especially the limestone rock wall and warm colors. Not sure about a crop. The odd angle of the back wall's cap and fencing throws off the eye and seems to interfere with the image as a whole. If you want to try it at all, you might try a crop just below the left edge of that slanted cap - to retain the poured concrete wall and the walk-way, but remove the odd angled line.

    But it's a great shot as is. I can imagine it in B&W too, but I DO like the color version. Looks like a scene in Lockport.

    Thanks for the comments and suggestions. I included the slant and fence because it added additional patterns and lines, although I can see your point.
