Happy Christmas from Downunder
We took an early break and had a few days in Bright, which is a wee town in the Victorian High Country.
Of course by NZ standards the mountains are more hill-like than mountainous but pretty all the same.
This area is called 'Happy Valley' so I thought it a fitting subject to go with my Happy Christmas post.
I do hope all forum friends are well and with those they love this Christmas.
Our family is happy & healthy and really who could ask for anything more.

Re: Happy Christmas from Downunder
Thank you, Kay. And very best wishes to you and your family.
Unfortunately for us, the efforts to keep my wife's cancer at bay haven't worked and treatment is now stopped. She was admitted to a palliative care facility last week. So, not the best of times for us.

Kay,
Happy holidays! Nicely captured image, I like the composition and the sweeping flow of the tree line.

Thank you all for your kinds thoughts and words. And my apologies to Kay for diverting attention away from her fine image with our family issues. There are many people around the world in great suffering and we should always think and act on behalf of all of them.

I like the picture a lot Kay, very attractive warm lighting and and very Australian -looking trees.

Kay... Your shot reminds me of my area of Southern California.
Donald... My deepest regrets. I lost my first wife to that devastating disease. Thankfully, my second wife and I are celebrating our 25th Christmas together and, considering our ages, are in relatively good health.
