Indeed, very clever interpretation of your signature dish I would suggest.
How did the egg turned out after removing it from the whisk? I love it!!!
This is so nice! Is the whisk this color or is the brownish color a result of your setup? If it's the latter, is the egg actually white?
Notice the extreme part of the bottom of the whisk that is closest to the handle. The photo requires serious study at least at this small size to realize that piece isn't cut. If you can enhance that tiny area displaying the curve of that piece of metal, we would instantly know that it isn't cut.
A very creative effort. Could you give us the EXIF information?
That's a really funky photo
Beautiful and wonderfully creative!
Sorry! I keep forgetting that. F/18 as the DOF was quite deep on the whisk. ISO200, and 1/125s. Shot under studio flash. Placed the egg in the whisk and shot it, the used polar co-ordinates in Photoshop to get the womb-like curve. The black background was some black art-board.

Cool. New Life Form?
Very creative and nice
Nice Rob. Interesting subject.
I was wondering about that.
The egg took on some of the curvature of the warp!
So what would you say about shooting the whisk such that instead of a sharply defined highlight stripe on the handle you created a gradient leading in to the darker stripe?
That’s how omelets were invented!
