Greetings from Boise Idaho
Good morning all! I did a lot of film years ago, this spring I was asked to shoot a parade for my wife's roller derby team with a borrowed DSLR, they liked the photos so well that I was asked to be the teams official photographer, so I went out and bought a used Pentax Kr (primarily because I had a few Pentax lenses), of course none of my lenses were fast enough for low light action photography! So next up was a 50mm 1.4 (fortunately I can get nice and close so this lens is working for now).
The learning curve has been pretty steep this season but my pictures have been steadily improving, this looked like a great group to learn from!
I added an image just to make sure I knew how.
