Lady's Leg
Texas Madrone, Magnificent, dramatic, exciting, mystical, inspiring, magical, sensual ... these are some of the words people use to describe the Madrone Tree.
My first download here, hope I did justice to such a lovely plant, Photo's taken in August, Big Bend National Park, Texas

Re: Lady's Leg
Welcome to CiC Feral...do edit you profile to add a first name and location if you are so inclined as we tend to be a friendly bunch around here and are on a first name basis
The Madrone tree is lovely and reminiscent of some we have here in Hawaii. I do love the lines and graceful curves on the limbs but wonder about the coloring. Was the scene really that yellow and is the bark really that red?
I guess a few question come to mind...
Do you shoot in RAW or JPEG?
How do you post process you images? (Photoshop, Lightroom, GIMP....)
Did you change the white balance of this image in your post processing? I suspect that if you shoot in JPEG you had the camera set to a certain white balance or if in RAW you warmed up the white balance considerably in your post processing but I can't be certain as I wasn't looking over your shoulder as you shot
I will look forward to your answers and to seeing more of your work as I am a sucker for a good nature shot and I have never done more than a flyover of the state of Texas.

Re: Lady's Leg
I like the composition very much I realised after seing some of your images here in CinC that you are after an artistic approach. That's why I don't want to comment on the colors because it is your taste.
