    warm, and cool sky's

These photo's were taken from the least populated area of the U.S(excluding Alaska) , Brewster County Texas , I have been taking photo's now for several years but I am really isolated. It is hard to get input from other photographers, and I looked at this site and saw quite a few really quality photo's. I am really interested in your input. There are quite a number of photographers that visit this area but I am only person that lives here and takes photo's full time.

In the two photos below the blue on was taken on a spur of the moment, it was a really bright sunny afternoon and I was not sure if I could make photo work, second one was at taken two months later at sunset, again I am greatly interested in you input.

Hi, Or Howdy! Welcome to CinC

It is great to share your hobby with other photographers, for me, I think it has helped me to get more involved, get familiar, and stay interested.

To offer some comments, I see you obviously have a more artistic view for your photography than true-to life. It is interesting to see what people do with this type of photography, and to put the artistic side to use.
I am thinking that the dark area at the bottom of the frame in the first image, and perhaps the second also, should be either more defined, (shapes and details more visible) or less prominent. The lighting is beautiful, and so are the shapes and layers in the hills.

    See you around!

I like #1 , if it was mine I would brighten the foreground a bit

PS. I would also crop the half of the foreground.

Nice, I like the processing of the first image.

First of all, welcome to CiC. If you want more input from others around here in this forum, you must also respond to other postings so we can humanize with one another. In doing so, since we are on a name basis here, please fill in your details by going at the top right hand side of this page. There you will see "My Profile". Press that button and fill in where you are from and what you want to be addressed as. Referring to you as "feral" doesn't really sound nice at all. Come and join us and play with us showing your shots and commenting nicely, not criticizing but critique-ing on images.
