Lurchy...you forgot your safety vest? You are floating here and your table is leaning to the left. Good shot though...I like it...your excitement is showing in your face and the set-up shot is good incorporated with it. Err...your cellphone is ringing...wifey-do misses you...:p
Hahaha no I was using it as a shutter release. No wifey to worry about. Lol
Great start to your project! I just want to know how you got space in the shed for your studio?
My nearest & dearest tells me there's no space in between all the sailboarding cr.. Sorry paraphernalia!
Hahaha. Well I just moved crap. Lol
Really cool images, especially liked all the answers and helpfulness.
Surreal! i think it would have worked better had you used an actual background for the larger you than the white one, maybe a picture of you with your studio in the background and the white set up on the table... if you understand what i mean.
Mark I understand where your coming from. In the future I will try ot
Any photo that makes me smile is a winner even if it has imperfections.
Project 52: Self-Destruction - P3
I had a completely different idea for this weeks photo but i didnt plan it out like i should so it is no in the "to do" list of ideas. This one came about as i went for a drive down the street. I thought to myself "hey, lets do a big head photo!". So i was thinking what my pose would be, what i would wear, and i thought to myself that i should wear something i wouldnt wear in public, so on comes the simpsons boxers!! And since my studio(makeshift) has alot of objects in it i went for a wander around, and found an old hospital bed pen.
I then went to do the head shots first, setting up the lights, doing different facial expressions. After i got some decent selections of my fat head, i then done the body shot. I picked a basic body pose to make it easier to learn, and for the facial expression, well, as there were other facial expressions to choose from, i like the one i choose.

Now the editing was a task for my limited skill set. Alot of layers, masking, skin retouching, aligning, corrections, and such. I have added a screen shot of the layers to achieve this image as well!

Until next week!
OK, Now that one really made me laugh!
well, my job is done! hahahaha
Great job Allen.:D
cheers mark!!
Oh Allen...I was having breakfast when I saw a notice for your Project 52. I knew I had to be scrolling one line at a time so I do not have to clean my keyboard and my screen...but your narration already played havoc on my screen even before I looked at your shot when you mentioned "bed pan". What my mind was playing on was your search for props instead...I can just imagine you finding something in a dark corner somewhere there and tossing it behind you as you go along...pretty much like a cartoon character's illustration with lots of quotation marks floating around you....LOL :D
Now the photo -- first up -- nice legs...!!!! :D
Second up -- the bed pan made you looked like a mushroom.
The expression on your face? -- Priceless!!!
Simpson boxers? I am not going there...:o
Overall -- somewhere in there is a little boy who doesn't want to grow up...
Now, where is that screen cleaner that I have here somewhere???
Hahahahahaha izzie, love your write up. I can easily imagine your face lok
great photo but my legs are better ;)
I'd like to bump this one up...it is absolutely a learning curve to selfies. And very funny too, mushroom head! :D
