Re: Project 52: Self-Destruction - P2
You ARE having fun with shadows, aren't you! They help make it look like you are floating except for the white halos under the legs.

Lurchy...you forgot your safety vest? You are floating here and your table is leaning to the left. Good shot though...I like it...your excitement is showing in your face and the set-up shot is good incorporated with it. Err...your cellphone is ringing...wifey-do misses you...

Great start to your project! I just want to know how you got space in the shed for your studio?
My nearest & dearest tells me there's no space in between all the sailboarding cr.. Sorry paraphernalia!

Surreal! i think it would have worked better had you used an actual background for the larger you than the white one, maybe a picture of you with your studio in the background and the white set up on the table... if you understand what i mean.

Project 52: Self-Destruction - P3
Project 52: Self-Destruction - P3
I had a completely different idea for this weeks photo but i didnt plan it out like i should so it is no in the "to do" list of ideas. This one came about as i went for a drive down the street. I thought to myself "hey, lets do a big head photo!". So i was thinking what my pose would be, what i would wear, and i thought to myself that i should wear something i wouldnt wear in public, so on comes the simpsons boxers!! And since my studio(makeshift) has alot of objects in it i went for a wander around, and found an old hospital bed pen.
I then went to do the head shots first, setting up the lights, doing different facial expressions. After i got some decent selections of my fat head, i then done the body shot. I picked a basic body pose to make it easier to learn, and for the facial expression, well, as there were other facial expressions to choose from, i like the one i choose.
Now the editing was a task for my limited skill set. Alot of layers, masking, skin retouching, aligning, corrections, and such. I have added a screen shot of the layers to achieve this image as well!
Until next week!
