I haven't got around to showing any photos here for a while, so this is an example of what has been taking up my time.
The hoverfly is one of the Syrphus brand but they produce several models and the males, like this one, require microscopic examination to separate the species.Last edited by Geoff F; 9th May 2010 at 09:38 AM. Reason: can't get linked image to show

Naked amongst the bluebells
A couple of freshly shorn sheep enjoying the Spring sunshine.
My bluebell photos never come upto expectations so I thought a couple of obliging models may help.
Only had a macro lens and my 150-500 zoom with me so I used the latter, although it wouldn't have been my ideal choice here.
And I think that makes the magic number of 10 images to close this competition.
