three-tailed -swallotail
Three-tailed Swallowtail (Papilio pilumnus), Canon 5D mark II, 400 mm handheld, thought about bringing some Valium or Xanax along as they are just a little hyper, will not be still long enough for proper photograph.

I love butterflies! I have never been able to capture them in the wild. I cheat and visit the Butterfly museum in Houston. they are still free but MUCH easier to see and photograph. Nice shots.
