Geoff, the fork tongue on the snake makes the picture. I love the design of the bird feeder.

I was able to take several shots of the snake but it was tricky to shoot when the tongue was a full stretch. My macro gear was on the camera (180 mm lens plus flash unit) so I was able to set a slightly faster shutter speed.

The birdtable design was a bit of a struggle. I had a rough idea of what I wanted but it was mostly a case of designing as it developed.
