    My new portfolio/blog...

    Hi guys,

I've been bed bound with the flu for the past few days so I decided to try and finish off the portfolio/blog site I have been working on.

I hope to use this as a sort of journal and then look back to see how my photography has progresssed. I also designed myself a little logo

    Please take a look: http://mattrobertsphoto.co.uk/

Its in its early stages and you have probably seen most of the current images on there.

Hi Matt, nice site/blog, how did you put it together? do you code or use dreamweaver, is it a template? Reason im asking is that i want to re write my site which uses a blue domain template which i dont find flexible enough. one thing i noticed with yours is that when you open the site to its home page, because the image is full screen its not immediately obvious that there is more to see by scrolling down

    Hi Mark,

Thanks for checking my blog, I used wordpress for my site which you can get different templates for (some are free/some you have to pay for)

Not sure if its something you are familiar with, but here is the site: http://wordpress.org/

EDIT: You can keep it simple or get more technical, entirely up to you. I have experience with Dreamweaver as I have done a lot of web/graphic design in the past.

A nice clean site you've put together there. Your images are nicely displayed (and worth doing so).

Although I have already seen your beautiful images here in CinC , it is nice to see them on your website again. Neat and tidy website

Hi Mat thanks for the info, yes im familiar with word press, but again it has limitatins whith what i can do so im thinking of embarking on an individual design project.... its not something thats important time wise so ill enjoy the learning curve of dream weaver i guess, i do a lot of slideshow stuff to music so i need a host that will allow hd video at good speeds.

Nice job, Matt, and I enjoyed seeing or re-seeing your images. Like the logo, too.

Hope the flu didn't come from hiking up those Welsh mountains in the perishing cold

hope you're feeling better, but at least you made good use of the downtime. your webpage design is simple and easy to navigate, apart from a few welsh location spellings which had me utterly confused. though all of that took a backseat to the magnificence of the photographs, wonderful work.

Thanks for all the comments guys, I've still got a few minor glitches to fix.

My flu has gone, but I do have a sore throat and a slight chest infection now! I'm staying indoors out of the cold for a couple of weeks
