Very good Beth, let's hope the driver got out ok
hope no damage to the iconic mini - note to driver, get a range rover for really deep snow
nicely done and great idea Beth
Thanks for the morning entertainment, Beth...I really love this concept...love playing...lots of snow where you are. I hope you will fill up your profile so we can know where in the world you are located...until it hits out brain good enough then you can take it down again when you want...anyway, Grahame, driver must have spilled out ways ago because the window is open...that or the car left without him...
Still smiling...get some of those leggo people...I stole some from my grandchild when I was home in Australia. I told my DIL that they are not good for little kids...she believed me...
thanks everybody.
grahame - don't know, don't care. too much like work.
izzie - legos are the best thing ever. they just are. that hilarious about your dil and grandkid's minifigs. i do have a few lego minifigs, one is even a stormtrooper. i'll have to post the photos of the father and son stormtroopers playing in the snow. there's no snow in delaware at the moment, these are from last winter when we couldn't catch a break from a series of minor to moderate snow storms. if i knew then what the rest of the year would bring then i'd have hung up my work boots and checked into an asylum.
I love Stormtrooper very much, Beth...OK...I am beginning to love you. We have so much in common with toys. I know of a photographer guy whose favourite toy is also Stormtrooper and some others similar and he brings his toys everywhere with and make up stories through pictures he shot. It was so entertaining at the first one so he made into a project. I haven't been to that site again but I love his creativity and attitude. And he uses films. They were all beautiful shots. On one he has Stormtrooper riding in one of his toy jeep or something...Photography should really be fun. I was not having fun two years ago so I stopped, went to forums after forums, then found CiC. I stayed, I went, I came back again and stayed since. Story of my life... When I grow up, I want to be like you. LOL
Well done Beth
Never grow up - I totally agree - inner child always looking for fun and laughing at adults
Beth...show us what you got....please...what did you get? what did you get? something like this -- ?
Anyway, I was browsing through your webpage...absolutely gorgeous photography there and I think the first barnhouse is a little bit leaning to the left...I will look some more later on.
Love 'em, Beth. Your talk of Stormtroopers reminded me of this, by a much missed former member.
Well done Beth, my first car was a Mini, thanks for making me feel young again
That was a good link, Janis...pretty much what Worth 1000 group will do. Have you look- see Beth's website on the Stormtrooper? The whole webpages is really worth a look..and I am one who procrastinate about having to click a website because I am really lazy to view other people's work in the past...
thanks benjy, otavio, pania, izzie, janis and peter.
izzie - the newest stormtrooper is definitely coming. thanks for the kind words about the website.
janis - that is awesome! thanks for the link, stormtrooper photos always make me smile.
peter - i never had a mini (or at least one larger than 5"), but i wouldn't be opposed to having some fun with an original mini. it seems like such a fun little car to drive. i bet you had a blast.
I have to play with mine and took some shots...my cabinet is getting full of props for my food photography and model airplanes galore I might as well include my Stormtrooper with it. Time to clear up my studio...So far today I had put down the Christmas decorations, boxed them up. Tomorrow the studio. I kept peeking in the door then shutting it hoping I will forget...but with the weather here, I think those presents better be sorted out in my luggage to clear my table for taking shots...big job...sigh...
No airbag deployment, no crumple zones visible, tree on roof hasn't shifted; likely only injury was to driver's pride.
Beth, if you haven't seen this guy's work you likely will find it very fascinating and maybe give you some ideas.

model airplanes? do share some images. pretty please?
unfortunately i spent all last night at work on storm prep and the last few hours was spent on storm ops. i had that nuclear waste we call snow falling from the sky on my way home from work.
i'm with you on lack of space. it seems like everytime i clear off a surface for shooting i buy a new toy and it starts living there. so much easier to take photos outdoors and let nature clean up after me.
i think the whole episode started with the phrase "watch this."
i think i have seen that guy's work before but it was in a news article and i never tracked him down to follow, awesome stuff. thanks for the reminder and the flickr link, let the cyber stalking begin! umm..ok, in a less creepy way, i mean i hit the follow button. thanks!
