Thanks Frank- I did shoot quite a few from this point over the last couple of days - to get a clear sky and a full moon at just the right time of day is quite rare. One of the difficulties is to tie in the interest of composition- the moon and sea is lovely but quite boring unless the sea is doing something dramatic, in which case it is probably cloudy and therefore no moon visible- but then that is part of the challenge to take what is there and turn it into something special I am excited to try to do that over the next weeks and months- as the location is literally a couple of hundred yards from my gate, there should be plenty of opportunity to explore it and try different techniques and angles etc. One day it may turn into a good historical document if nothing else, as this coastline is eroding at an average of 2 metres a year.
