Frog City Central

[GBO25]

Not far from the waterfall in my last post is a little park and pond referred to as Frog City.
These are a few from last Saturday afternoon.
Green is good.

Love these little frogs - there often used to be one on the toilet cistern, I think in Cloncurry. Worked many places QLD outback.

Mark, I was about to say that to Graham about #2 ... very nice though...it is my favourite Graham, #2. In your face, sort of frontal, very good expression you caught there. The rest? -- they are clean. For a frog.

I like them. All well done. Expression in #2 is great. A little more DOF would have been nice, but you I know that's not easy with macro. You got the eyes in focus, and that's the main thing.

Very nice. Green is definitely good. I like the way the little stalk in Number 1 balances the right side of the image making a nice triangle. Is that a little bug under his chin in Number 2?

Thanks all. My wife calls #2 Mr. Grumpy as well. He does sorta seem to be a bit put out by the camera's intrusion into his day. Should have found somewhere else to sit.

Yep it's the macro curse Nick, not enough light for a smaller aperture unless I raised the ISO and I didn't want to. These guys are all about 3/4" (20mm) long.

Thanks Suzan. It's not a bug in #2, it seems to be some sort of froggy mole.
