    leaves B&W

    Whilst wandering around the wetlands part of the Vergelegen gardens yesterday I thought the patterns created by these leaves would make a good conversion to black and white.

    I think you're right. Reveals a creative eye and I agree B&W is a great way to go with this. The center of the main leaf is dead center in the image, and I would tend to experiment (and possibly fail) with ways to add interest that involved eccentricity, rather than symmetry, for that main leaf.

    Nice one; can you drag the front leaf to back, so that you can talk more about the pleated pattern of the leaf.....
