Nicely captured.
Yes it works Mark, as does the composition/crop.
It looks like you've already enhanced the colour of the bread, but I gather not.
There's enough to share, but I bet they won't, without a fight - and a lot of noise
Thanks John, appreciated
Dave, you may be right, will need to go back to the original and check, if so apologies for not being clear on that. - Edit - just checked the original .jpg SOOC - nope the bread is brown and looks like it was catching the sun on it hence it standing out so much
Oh they are noisy, but fun as they are not scared of you so you get a few good opportunities to photograph them

I think it is great, Mark. I would favor cropping to tighten in on this fun story, losing some space on top and on the left.
Great capture of the action. Now that one of them picked it up, everyone else wants it too!
Cheers Mark, will look at that and see how it looks
Cheers Nick, oh yes its great fun to watch as they all start to mob it - they are great acrobats in the sky
What a moment to capture!!! very captivating......
Great shot and title too
Dan, Nice, it works very well and certainly brings the wing highlights out more but I like the 'adults' (parents ) looking on as if watching junior to see how he is doing as well think this is clearly two photos in one
Thank you Nandakumar, much appreciated
Cheers Mark,
I think I would try a slight crop just from the top, with a different size ratio?
Dave, I know, it was me not sure as to what I had done or not done to it, as you say fortuitous as to the lighting :-)
Geoff, to be honest I think it could be quite easily a bit more letterbox but at the time I did not look at it seriously, this was a crop to see if it was worth bothering with at all.
I think it's a great capture especially as all the birds have been caught with wings extended. Often when they're fighting over food their wings can be at very narrow angles. Nice capture.
Thanks Graham, dont you love luck when it visits I took two of this scene and the oher is not bad but a lot more 'messy' in the birds positions and wing pose, so to get one out of two is great.
Beautifully photographed... Gorgeous detail, light and focus.
I like Dan's crop because of the close up view of the perfect capture but in colour, but as is also works for me.
