A sign of the times
Was down at the beach the other day. Place called Coronet Bay. Saw this sign at the entrance way on the path to the foreshore sand which caught my eye. Took a couple of shots. Just wonder if either one has worked, and if so which was was best? Interested to see feedback thank you. Fortunately at the time there did not seem to be any snakes out at play. Least ways I didn't see any...

The second, Ken. It's tighter, and more of the periphery is less in focus.

I like the second, contrast is better to me.

A difference of opinion here.
My vote is for #1 for the composition.
The moth is a nice touch.

It is Oz so likely it's a poisonous moth!

Very funny Jack! Ken -- I like #2 -- blur in the background doesn't distracts as much as concentration on the sign is more the case in point here...

Re: A sign of the times
I would go for #1 and have a nice piece of sharply focused wood.

Re: A sign of the times
I prefer #2 as background is irrelevant. Love the moth.
