Nice reflection, Wendy. I don't know what tree it is either.
This one is Corsican Pines. They grow near the beach and always look very weak and brittle to me. Shot a couple of days ago.
On black
I think it might be 'salix matsudana' or 'Twisted Willow' but I might be wrong. Here's a shot of it. We have a couple in our garden, but they are only a few years old.

Thanks Rob, I think you might be right. The large picture certainly looks the same. The one in my shot is not in full leaf yet. I've never seen anything like it.
There is a greenhouse in the park. The next time I am there, I will try to find a groundskeeper and find out for sure what it is.
Thanks for checking it out for me
Wendy
Steve, two stunning tree images, especially "Wind Blown"
We live in it Rob. At the moment, we are a bit grounded here with family stuff keeping us pinned, but badly want to get to the South Island - place of my birth - and do a tour there for a couple or three years. There are some fantastic places just dying to leap onto my sensor.
Yup. It keeps me sane and in contact with various photo-types that I meet on the road and elsewhere. Also Flickr etc. I'd hate to be without it.
Errrr...that, to, is on the external h/drive and it is pitch black tonight, so no hopping out to get a quick snap. But I will fulfill your deepest desires tomorrow.
