I don't really reply to images that I am not interested in, plants, fungi etc, unfortunately this just looks a mess, sorry

Not to worry. I used this shot on my blog about Wisdom to demonstrate Scott's maxim about the complexity of lying when we first practice that art.

I believe that it is a strong image and it is one that will either be loved or not depending upon the person. But it is hard to ignore?

Well I'm not sure I see the spider, but I would have to wonder about the sanity of the spider that wove that portion of the web on the right, rather schizophrenic approach.(the spider's not your)

The spider is at the apex(?) of the V formed by the web on the left. Just about the middle of the shot. The portion on the right just might be a cobweb / dust bunny in the roof.

Brian, I would be interested in reading your blog, because for sure, your image illustrates the maxim about lying that you describe. Keep up the good works.

'Rie, here is the link to my blog of collected wisdom from around the world. It is eclectic. I find my life works better when I wander around in the wisdom literature of various ages and cultures.

A couple of months ago I started recording stuff from my life and thoughts that world events brought to me. It is called: Letters From The Side Of a Sleeping Volcano
THE LIFE AND TIMES OF THIS OLD MAN

A surprising number of people find the combination of my thoughts and photos interesting enough to come back. Very little wisdom but occasionally a laugh or a 'hmmmmm'.
    Brian.
