    Reflections of a Swan

Taken at LaSalle park in mid afternoon. The ice in the bay had mostly melted, but there were still some sheet ice floating. The surface of these sheets had melted presenting reflective surfaces on translucent ice. The result was ghostly reflections. f5.6, 33mm, 1/400, iso 400

Absolutely gorgeous shot, but what is H45 stuck on the wings? Maybe one day you can have an eyes showing too...

The swan in this park are tagged and monitored . I wish I could have caught an eye showing, but I console myself having caught the open mouth!

I like it. I think it works in B&W! You could crop some of the empty space off the left, and see how that looks, if you want to.

Thanks Nick. I thought of cropping the left but decided to keep the swan off centre; the rule of thirds?
