Oreti Beach and new filters

Hello all,

After a lot (a lot ) of rain down here in Southland, NZ over the last week or so, I finally managed to get out doors on Sunday and test out some new Singh-Ray filters. Many thanks to Colin for his helpfull direction pointing

The following shots were exposures of 8 & 30 seconds respectively using a Polarizer, Vari-ND and hand-held 3-stop hard (GR 4x6) Gradulated ND filter.

Mental note: must buy 4x6 filter holder

Very nice; I like the bottom one.

Very nice. I can't decide which I like better. I like the log in the foreground in the first one and the color in the second one. Both are nice.

Thanks Steve & Chuck. With the first one, I didn't quite get the effect I was looking for (more water motion needed), However it was heading in the right direction.
